“As this is now a police matter we cannot comment further.”

It was just one of the many concerning incidents that happened in and around Wembley before, during and after the final, with police making 86 arrests in connection with trouble around the stadium.

As many as 19 officers were injured, including one who lost a tooth and another who suffered a broken hand.

Wembley officials also confirmed that a “small group” of ticketless fans breached security and gained access into the stadium illegally.
